One of AOLHET's flagship programs is the launch of a capital campaign to build Sri Sri University (SSU) in Orissa, India.

Sri Sri University founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has envisioned a world-class educational experience that will imbue tomorrow’s professionals and entrepreneurs with the skills they need to become national and international leaders.

• SSU will offer an interdisciplinary curriculum taught by some of the world’s finest thinkers, teachers and researchers, and will feature state-of-the-art infrastructure including well-equipped classrooms and laboratories, a large central library, and a multi-specialty teaching hospital.
• Enhancing learning through action: all students will engage in socially useful, productive service projects as part of their regular coursework.
• The University will open its doors to all candidates regardless of religion or socio-economic background and will cultivate diversity – and, in particular, gender equality –through the extension of scholarships and awards.
• The campus is spread over 185 acres on the banks of the Kathjodi River, 24 kilometers from the capital city of Bhubaneswar. In keeping with our organizational mission, the University will provide a source of sustainable education and healthcare in the surrounding region. In addition, the completion of the university will stimulate the local economy by providing jobs to local people and infusing income from students and faculty.
